S. J. Montigny vineyard
The S. J. Montigny vineyard was founded in 2009 and is the youngest company in the Group. Winemaker Steffen James Montigny professionally cultivates his wine at two locations: in Bretzenheim an der Nahe, and in Hof Altmühlen in Schleswig-Holstein. Two locations, which couldn’t be more different.

Whereas the Bretzenheim vineyard, whose sophisticated wines are available in famila and MARKANT, is a traditional vineyard equipped with the most modern in cellar technology, Steffen J. Montigny carries out pioneering work in Grebin. In a joint project with Bartels-Langness he has become Germany’s first winemaker to grow wine professionally in Schleswig-Holstein.
